How long should I charge my RC 7.2 volt batteries. I was told that the longer you charge them the better they hold the charge. Is that true?

If you overcharge batteries you can actually damage them! Use a peak detection charger that automatically cuts off, or follow your chargers instructions. Overcharging actually shortens the life (been there done that).

THEY SHOULD BE PEAKED CHARGED.IF NOT THEY SHOULD BE CHARGED FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES BUT DON'T LET THE BATTERY GET HOT YOU CAN CHARGE A LITLE LONGER BUT WATCH THE TEMP IT SHOULD ONLY BE WARM TO TOUCH
