I have both Ninco and Carrera race sets. I liked Ninco's rough surface and I could make the Ninco cars fishtail somewhat. I got my Carrera set (Mille Miglia) last week and what a difference the smoother track makes. I really like the Carrera track. I plan to buy some more sets to add more track to my layout. The Carrera cars run fine with the stock rubber. I did add some Radio Shack rare-earth magnets to keep the cars from rolling. The Ninco F1's run great with the silcone tires. Also the Carrera track is made of stiffer plastic so you get a nice smooth layout. I would definetly recommend the Carrera sets. Have fun. | |
