"rebuilding my Strombecker 1/32 scale cars"
Hey guys, I hope you can help me with this, I have a 1966 Montgomery Wards Thunderbolt 3 1/32 scale race set by Strombecker. The set is in very good condition in the original box. The set originally came with one orange Ford G.T. car and one white American G.T. car. I still have the chassis with motors and good front axles for both cars, but the bodies are trashed and both need complete rear ends, including the bushings that the aluminum chassis wraps around. I noticed that you do have both bodies in stock, but was wondering if these are just shells, or if they come complete with interiors, and drivers, ready to mount to the chassis. Also I noticed that you have a few different rear ends available, which part number is correct for these cars? Both of the motors run in these cars, but if I wanted to replace them could I? Are there any possible upgrades for these two cars? This set was originally my older brothers, and I'm interested in getting it back to its former glory. If you guys do have all the major stuff I need for these two cars, I will also need some tires, and pickup brushes for both cars. I would greatly appreciate any info. or suggestions you might have.
