"Rocket Repairs"
My son and I are just getting into model rocketry and are having some problems with recovery. The shock cord breaks after 5-6 launches. It looks like it turns brittle. Any suggestions? The parachute sometimes doesn't open. We use 3-4 pieces of recovery wadding every time.
